Scientia Global to provide Maritime Surveillance Systems technical support services as amember of the C4 Planning Solutions team that was awarded $118 contract by Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command.
Melbourne, FL, (Jan. 8, 2009) – Scientia Global, Inc, (Scientia) a Melbourne, Florida based professional services company, is a member of a team assembled and led by C4 Planning Solutions (C4Plans) that has received a $118 million indefinite quantity contract to design, integrate, and install Maritime Surveillance Systems (MSS) in support of the Navy's ongoing Maritime Domain Awareness enhancement effort. The contract was awarded by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command and involves a three-year base period and a two-year option, for an estimated value of $199 million.
Under the terms of the contract, Scientia and the C4Plans team (including teammates Facchina Global and Computer Sciences Corporation) shall provide foreign militaries with situational awareness through the delivery of sensor fusion, target detection, and classification capabilities. This effort will involve designing, developing, and testing integrated maritime systems at the C4Plans facility in Blythe, GA. Upon successful integration and testing, the systems shall be installed at a variety of foreign maritime locations. Scientia will provide support in the areas of systems engineering and foreign field install/integration support.
