Scientia Global and Raytheon team awarded a contract valued up to $15 billion to provide Counter-Narcoterrorism Programs and Operations Support

Melbourne, FL, (Jan. 10, 2008) – Scientia Global, Inc, a Melbourne, Florida based professional services company, is a member of a team assembled by Raytheon Technical Services Company (RTSC) LLC, a subsidiary of Raytheon Company that has received a contract with a ceiling value of $15 Billion across all Task Orders to provide equipment, material and services in support of the Department of Defense (DoD) Counter-Narcoterrorism Technology Program Office (CNTPO). The five-year, indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract began August 24, 2007 and ends August 23, 2012.

Under the terms of the contract, Scientia Global and the Raytheon team may provide support to CNTPO in three areas: technology development and application; training, operations and logistics support; and professional and executive support. CNTPO is located at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren, Va., and also in Tampa, Fl.

Raytheon, prime contractor for the contract, teamed with EG&G, a division of URS; SAIC, Battelle, and others including Scientia Global of Melbourne, Florida. The team will offer CNTPO a comprehensive capability to produce innovative solutions, provide responsive support and experienced management committed to the CNTPO mission worldwide. Scientia Global will provide support in the areas of program/project management, systems engineering and integration, training/mentoring, drug policy, and material acquisition.
